Next Phase Solutions and Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to lead and support security posture, risk mitigation, and policy compliance all task orders under the DISA contract. This role will be instrumental in implementing cybersecurity strategies and maintaining compliance with DoD and DISA security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and security audits across systems
• Implement NIST 800-53, RMF, STIGs, and DISA compliance controls
• Support ATO and C&A processes, and documentation
• Oversee vulnerability scanning and incident response
• Provide SME guidance on cyber issues for the program team

Terms: Contingent Upon Contract Award

This position is contingent upon contract award, and selected candidates may be asked to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI) and contingent offer letter to confirm availability.

Location:

This is not a remote opportunity. Primary work will be performed on-site at either the Next Phase Solutions & Services office in Columbia, MD or at a designated government facility within the region, as directed by the client.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI required (must be adjudicated by a U.S. government clearance issuing authority) and U.S. Citizenship.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with DISA/DoD
• Proficiency in NIST RMF, STIGs, and cybersecurity tools.
• Experience supporting classified environments.
• Experience supporting DoD agencies, including DISA, NSA, DIA, or PEO Spectrum programs.

Preferred:

• CISSP, CEH, or equivalent certification
• Familiarity with DISA security policies and tools

General:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on the needs of the client
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to team with others to meet project objectives
• Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile; SAFe knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills, are required.

• $130,000 - $200,000
