The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Staff Research Associate I to support innovative clinical research involving pediatric, adult, and older adult participants. Working closely with the Principal Investigator and research team, the incumbent will coordinate study operations, recruit and enroll research participants, collect and manage research data, administer cognitive assessments, and maintain regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include supporting IRB submissions, coordinating subject reimbursement and study logistics, preparing participants for MRI procedures while ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining research records and equipment, assisting with data analysis and reporting, and supporting study budgets and laboratory operations. The Staff Research Associate I will also help train research personnel and contribute to the successful execution of clinical research studies in a collaborative academic environment.
Hourly range: $30.12-$35.92
*Please note that this is a limited position, and may convert to career.*
Job Qualifications

Required:
- Knowledge and understanding of research study logistics including human subject recruitment and retention for research.
- Demonstrated computer skill/abilities: excellent word-processing skills (including excellent ability with graphics), database management, fund management, and email.
- Willingness to learn to support some study procedures (MRI scanning – position subject in the scanner, overnight polysomnography (sleep study) subject hookup and computerized data acquisition sequence for overnight polysomnography studies, etc.).
- Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate research procedures and deadlines
