About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and innovative AI Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, including emerging Agentic AI workflows. This role blends leadership in AI strategy with hands-on responsibilities in data engineering, ensuring the seamless integration of AI models into our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data pipeline best practices and a track record of delivering high-impact AI solutions. Ability to learn and evolve with changing landscape is a must. Seeking a candidate with a strong academic background with a desire to innovate. This is a hybrid role based in our Warren, NJ office (3 days in office/2 days remote).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

AI Strategy

• Define and execute AI solutions, focusing on innovative, agentic AI workflows that enable autonomous or semi-autonomous decision-making.

End-to-End AI Pipeline Development

• Oversee the full AI lifecycle—from data ingestion and model training to deployment and monitoring—to ensure high-impact, scalable solutions.

• Continuously refine AI workflows, leveraging best practices in model iteration and optimization.

Agentic AI Workflow Implementation

• Design, prototype, and implement AI agents that can learn, adapt, and interact with users or systems with minimal human intervention.

• Utilize reinforcement learning, advanced machine learning techniques, and robust data pipelines to power autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems.

Data Infrastructure & Engineering

• Build and maintain scalable data architectures in support of AI models, ensuring robust data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Master’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science is preferred.

• Advanced Python proficiency

• Machine Learning & Data Science experience

• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LlamaIndex, and MCP (highly desirable).

• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, feature engineering, and data-preprocessing techniques.

• Experience deploying models built with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and performance tuning.

• Exposure to cloud services—especially Microsoft Azure—is a plus.

• Significant research work that showcases analytical thinking and rapid learning may be substituted for some professional experience.

For NJ Only: The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
