Job Summary:
Resolve Tech is seeking a motivated Windows Engineer Level 1 to join its Managed Services delivery team. This entry-level role is responsible for supporting core Windows infrastructure, resolving Tier 1 and some Tier 2 incidents, and contributing to system health, patching, and configuration activities. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in enterprise systems support within a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for issues related to Windows desktops, servers, and related systems.
- Assist with user management in Active Directory (account creation, password resets, group policy support).
- Perform routine system checks and report anomalies to senior engineers.
- Support patching, software installations, and basic endpoint administration.
- Troubleshoot performance or access issues on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server platforms.
- Work tickets within SLAs, documenting resolutions and escalating as needed.
- Assist with inventory and configuration tracking using CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Participate in shift handoffs and daily team standups.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and Cloud/O365 teams as part of cross-functional incident resolution.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience supporting Windows systems in an IT support or junior sysadmin role.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., RDP, SCCM, or similar).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (MTA, MD-100, etc.).
- Exposure to PowerShell or interest in learning scripting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Experience working in healthcare or high-availability environments is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced managed services structure supporting healthcare clients.
- Onsite in San Antonio with opportunities to grow into hybrid roles.
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule or after-hours support may be required.
