Role Overview:

Product Infrastructure is a team that aims to take care of common heavy-lifting through the full life cycle of building and operating services, to empower product engineering teams to focus on solving business problems. We build tools, frameworks, platforms, and services.

 

What You Will Do:

You will help develop a team of talented engineers. You will acquire a deep understanding of all aspects of the tech stack to drive eCommerce Engineering wide engineering practices. You will have an influence across the organization and lead by example in Engineering and Operational Excellence. Working closely with a group of engineers in multiple geographic locations, you will solve challenging problems at scale. Your work will directly impact tens of millions of customers every single day!

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
• 10+ years of designing, building and operating large-scale, complex production systems
• Experience influencing the engineering culture and setting the technical direction for a large organization

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in APIs and systems design
• A desire to grow those around you both technically and professionally
• Ability to challenge the existing norms to improve overall systems and processes

 

Pay & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $351,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
