Progressive Care Nurse

Location: Eureka, California

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit (PCU).
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical cases.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Implement and evaluate care plans, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and other advanced technologies.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Progressive Care Certification (PCCN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
