Job Title: TIGS Production Operations Lead<p></p><p></p>Job Category: Production<p></p><p></p>Time Type: Full time<p></p><p></p>Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI<p></p><p></p>Employee Type: Regular<p></p><p></p>Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%<p></p><p></p>Type of Travel: Local<p></p>Anticipated Posting End: 10/1/2026<p></p><p></p><p><b><u>The Opportunity</u></b></p><p><br/>Join our Integrated Product Support Team as a recognized technical leader responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations, improving production efficiency, and leading complex operational initiatives.<br/>Serve as the subject matter expert for manufacturing planning, production execution, workforce utilization, and continuous process improvement.<br/>Lead cross-functional efforts to improve manufacturing performance while ensuring customer requirements, quality standards, cost objectives, and production schedules are consistently achieved.<br/>Drive strategic manufacturing initiatives through data analysis, Lean methodologies, and operational excellence.<br/>Mentor and develop manufacturing personnel while fostering collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Production organizations.<br/>Ā </p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Serve as the manufacturing subject matter expert for production planning, operational execution, and manufacturing process optimization.</p></li><li><p>Lead large, complex manufacturing projects involving production planning, resource allocation, equipment utilization, and operational improvements.</p></li><li><p>Analyze production data, manufacturing trends, equipment performance, and workforce utilization to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost reduction.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize operational performance using Lean Manufacturing principles.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate manufacturing activities across Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, vendors, and logistics partners.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate manufacturing methods, production capacity, and equipment requirements; recommend capital investments and process improvements when appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Ensure manufacturing operations remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with customer, regulatory, safety, and internal quality requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical leadership and guidance to manufacturing personnel, coaching junior team members while delegating work assignments as appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Resolve complex manufacturing issues requiring independent judgment, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.</p></li><li><p>Develop manufacturing metrics, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership while recommending operational improvements.</p></li><li><p>Influence manufacturing policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices to improve organizational performance.</p></li><li><p>Support strategic planning activities related to manufacturing capacity, workforce planning, and operational readiness.</p></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications<br/><i>Required</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Must be a US Citizen</p></li><li><p>Must have an active DOD TS to begin work</p></li><li><p>Must be able to obtain a DOD TS/SCI security clearance</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</p></li><li><p>Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing, production operations, operations management, industrial engineering, or related technical environments.</p></li><li><p>Recognized technical expertise in manufacturing operations, production planning, or operational process improvement.</p></li><li><p>Demonnstrated experience leading large or complex operational or manufacturing projects from planning through execution.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating work across multiple functional organizations.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, review, and delegate work to technical personnel.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating manufacturing performance, operational metrics, and production data.</p></li><li><p>Experience identifying operational risks and implementing process improvements.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations and operational status to leadership.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently with limited supervision while exercising sound technical judgment</p></li></ul><p><br/><b><i>Desired</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced technical degree.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other highly regulated production envir
