Who will you be working with?
Our best-in-class Heat Transfer and Energy Solutions Group combines knowledge of deep domain expertise and tenured experience to deliver unparalleled product applications across a wide sector of industries. You will partner with the General Manager of the Thermal Transfer Group business unit and other key stakeholders across our organization to ensure the delivery of world class products to our customers.
How will you make a difference?
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This involves leading project planning and implementation; facilitate the definition of the project scope goals and deliverables; lead project teams, assign tasks and define resource requirements; develop project plans and schedules; monitor progress, timelines and results.
What do we want to know about you?
- BS Engineering or higher from an accredited university.
- Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of Design Engineering, Project Engineering and Project Management.
- Strong proficiency in MS office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project/P6 (or other scheduling software), and Oracle or similar.
What will your typical day look like?
- Define Project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop project schedules with critical milestones
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Manage Project Budget.
- Monitor and Control project costs to maintain and improve contract margin
- Responsible for cost-quality-schedule trade-off decisions
- Monitor and report progress to customer, stakeholders, and management.
- Create and communicate reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs and objectives.
- Evaluate project and assess results.
- Customer Interface.
- Primary point of contact for customer.
- Responsible to review all customer deliverables and correspondence.
- Lead team in change orders, estimating, and negotiations with customer.
- Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Stay informed of industry, market, and product trends.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Provides pre-project deliverables including but not limited to applications engineering support, estimating, and proposal generation.
