    Job Description

    We are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in our Detroit office. Roland Berger is currently working in a hybrid environment.  

    This role will report to the Director of Finance and provides a great opportunity to grow your career and be part of a passionate team.  

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Responsible for the financial reporting and statement preparation of multiple entities in North America and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards 

    • Responsible for the general ledger maintenance of multiple entities, including accruals, posting of JE’s, and fixed assets 

    • Responsible for the federal and state corporate tax positions for the North America region 

    • Assist tax advisors in the preparation of tax statements 

    • Responsible for the financial audits of multiple entities in North America 

    • Support in the preparation of KPI’s and operational reports 

    • Assist Manager with operational, administrative, and accounting tasks 

    • Works with the broader accounting team on other accounting related topics as needed 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred) 
    • At least 4 years' experience in a similar role 

    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel 

    • Attention to detail
