As a Senior Marketing and Media Services Manager for Disney Cruise Line, you will lead the planning and execution of large, highly complex marketing and media groups and events across Disney Signature Experiences (DSE). Serving as the primary point of contact for DSE marketing and fulfillment clients, you will oversee end‑to‑end event logistics while delivering a high‑touch, brand‑aligned Guest experience for both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires close partnership with cross‑functional teams across the organization, as well as the ability to mentor Cast and influence partners to drive seamless execution and exceptional outcomes.

The Sr. Marketing and Media Services Manager will report to the Manager, Marketing and Media Services and sits in Celebration, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, CCDI, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Media Network Synergy, Promotions, Marketing Strategy, Special Events, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Alliances, and other stakeholders to support complex marketing and media initiatives.

  • Plan and manage end‑to‑end logistics, including hotel contracts, stateroom blocks, food and beverage, onboard setups and spaces, air travel, ground transportation, and production requirements.

  • Procure, manage, and maintain third‑party vendor and operator relationships, ensuring delivery aligns with Disney’s class of service and brand standards.

  • Support marketing and media service operations across highly complex, global programs, maintaining deep knowledge of products and services across Disney Signature Experiences (DSE).

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.

  • Coach and support the development of marketing and media services associates through guidance, feedback, and on‑the‑job learning opportunities.

  • Provide exceptional Guest service by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the experience and deliver thoughtful, brand‑aligned solutions.

  • Lead and influence partnerships across teams to resolve complex challenges, often spanning multiple regions and time zones.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally through written materials, presentations, and meetings, representing the business with a high level of polish and credibility.

  • Maintain availability to support managed groups within a seven‑day‑a‑week operation, including on‑call coverage as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in event planning, event services, hospitality management, marketing, or catering operations, ideally in a media or entertainment environment, with demonstrated leadership across projects, events, vendors, and/or teams.

  • Proven experience planning and orchestrating complex, high‑value media groups and events, including management of rooms, venues, and operational spaces.

  • Strong understanding of business objectives across different markets and the ability to align event execution to client and organizational goals.

  • Ability to proactively anticipate risks, challenges, and dependencies related to group and event operations and elevate concerns with proposed solutions.

  • Demonstrated capability to oversee highly complex programs with minimal day‑to‑day oversight, exercising sound judgment and accountability.

  • Creative problem‑solving skills with a focus on enhancing Guest experiences while balancing operational realities.

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or providing guidance to team members, including direct reports or peers.

  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in basic computer and technology functions required to operate in a Windows environment and adapt to new tools and systems.
