In this role, you will:
- Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize losses within credit risk and other operating standards
- Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for Wells Fargo
- Develop, test, analyze and implement strategies to achieve the financial objective relevant to macro-economic conditions
- Work closely with cross functional teams (Tech, Product, Risk, Operations) to drive impact on a given product, problem, or initiative
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages to develop analytics automation
- Ability to use imperfect information to solve complex problems and make strategic recommendations
- Strong skills using statistical/data science tools such as SAS, R, Python, etc.
- Lead development of visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience with auto lending
- Proven ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels to make high-impact decisions and complete challenging assignments
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly recognize and resolve problems and get to the root cause
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills based on analytics

- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
