Senior Analyst, Sourcing

Support development and implementation of sourcing activities in assigned commodity. Obtains the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. Sourcing will support the development and implementation of specific strategies and projects related to cost reduction initiatives, new product development, supply base and sourcing optimization and rationalization, quality improvement, risk assessment, and contract negotiation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.
- Support development and implementation of processes to build a best in class sourcing organization.
- Develop and lead cross functional teams and lead the process to create strategic commodity plans, consolidation strategy, and spend/supply assessments taking into account total product life cycle needs.
- Participates in sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.
- Participates in development of contract strategy. Negotiates, establishes, monitors and enforces supplier contracts and agreements.
- Develop strong partnership relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses.
- Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans.
- Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers. Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes.
- Perform cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.
- Responsible for assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets.
- Collaborate across functions, divisions, and campuses to develop scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers. Organize and lead scorecard review meetings and business reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Education within Sourcing and/or Supply Chain or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years in Supply Chain or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- International supply chain experience.
- Experience of working with ERP systems (Pyramid)
- Fluent English language skills
- Knowledge of QMS including basic knowledge of ISO13485, MDD/MDR, FDA
- Proficient on basic computer programs including Microsoft Suite applications
- Experience with supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems.
- Skills in influencing, communication & presentation, troubleshooting & problem solving, analysis, strategic thinking, and collaborative team building.
