Description

Horrocks LLC in Albuquerque, New Mexico is hiring an Engineer-In-Training (Geotechnical). Minimum requirements are a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, including coursework in Rock Mechanics, Pavement Management Systems, and Temporary Structures Construction and applicants must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. What are the core responsibilities for the role?

-Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
 -Drafting and design work for a variety of projects across multiple disciplines
 -Work in structural detailing, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, and other associated items
 -Create and modify technical drawings of roads, bridges, pipelines, etc.
 -Collaborate with engineers to ensure that the drawings are correct and represent the design accurately
 -Compile and maintain the entire plan set of technical drawings
