The JobThe mission of the Operational Success Team is to provide upfront onboarding, as well as sustained operational support for Omnidian’s residential solar assets. The Operational Success Team members have a variety of skill sets and often become subject matter experts within their role.
Within the Operational Success Team, the Solar Performance sub-team is responsible for ensuring the integrity of installations through our Performance Verification Test.

What you'll do
- Like all of our Lead roles, this will be a mix of lead and individual contributor responsibilities Lead Responsibilities (30-50%)
- Support day-to-day tasks of a team of 3-5 Solar Performance Associates & Specialists
- Coach and provide feedback for teammates on diagnosing issues with systems using Resolv and external platforms
- Hold regular 1:1 check-ins to stay close to questions, concerns, and risks
- Partner with the manager on drafting semi-annual reviews
- Escalate performance concerns, potential risks in retention, engagement, project timelines or work quality to manager Individual Contributor Responsibilities (50-70%)
- Diagnose performance alerts related to solar systems during their first 30 days and take appropriate troubleshooting actions
- Support escalated cases and work internally to drive them to resolution
- Learn, execute, and help implement improvements for existing and new processes
- Work collaboratively with internal Residential Operations teams, including Portfolio Operations Managers, Field Service, Customer and Technical Support Teams, and Client Success Managers
- This role is primarily internal-facing, with occasional interactions with external customers, clients and manufacturers

Experience You'll Need
- 6+ years of combined professional and/or college experience
- 2+ years of experience in the solar energy industry, in monitoring operations, asset management, system design, or field service and maintenance
- 6+ months of formal or informal leadership experience
- Experience with solar monitoring DAS platforms and alerts
- Experience reading and interpreting solar system design drawings
- Strong understanding of solar technology, monitoring systems, maintenance practices, and the solar industry landscape
Experience that's a Plus
- CRM experience such as Zendesk or Salesforce Service Cloud
