About the Role

As Automation QA Team Lead - CAD, you’ll oversee a team of QA software engineers in automation testing of Altium CAD tools. Altium’s CAD tools are integrated with our advanced design features and other design tools that let engineers quickly design PCBs for advanced applications. 

A day in the life of our Automation QA Team Lead

• Lead a team of QA engineers
• Design and build a functional platform for automation testing of Altium CAD software
• Build and drive new automation testing processes
• Provide the QA engineering team with experienced leadership and technical guidance that will enhance their skills and professional growth
• Work with and influence the engineering team by developing a positive, collaborative relationship

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience building automation testing processes
• Solid experience with C# tech stack
• 2+ years QA Team lead experience 
• Experience creating key test artifacts
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, TFS, etc.
• Experience using test management systems such as Test Rail, Test Link, etc.
• Experience with tools for API testing, i.e., Postman, Fiddler, SoapUI, etc.
• Experience working with logs/basic analysis
• A good understanding of the priority when introducing defects
• Experience with databases, including connecting, writing simple queries
• Knowledge of version control (Git, SVN)
• English language skills: conversational, business proficiency
