High Horse Power Field Service Diesel Technician

<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.</p> <p> </p> <p><span>We are looking for a talented High Horse Power Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Avondale, AZ).</span></p> <p><span>We offer sign on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! </span></p> <p><span>Will make an impact in the following ways:</span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop</span></p></li> <li> <p><span>Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools</span></p></li> <li> <p><span>Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles</span></p></li> <li> <p><span>Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety &amp; Environmental policies</span></p></li> <li> <p><span>Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products</span></p></li> <li> <p><span>Maintain own tools</span></p></li> </ul> <p><span><span>In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Completes complex internal engine repairs</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Performs engine overhauls unassisted</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software</span><br/><br/> </p></li></ul> <p>Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card</p><p>Knowledge of and ability to maintain DOT hours of service</p><p>Working at customer sites in the Mining industry</p><p> </p><p><strong>DOT</strong><br/>-    A current valid license is required for this role<br/>-    This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations<br/>-    This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical<br/>-    3 years driving experience<br/>-    This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use<br/>-Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age</p><p><strong>Education, Licenses, Certifications: </strong><br/>Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)<br/>Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution <br/>Locally valid driving permit<br/>This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. <br/><br/><strong>Experience: </strong><br/>Basic level field service work experience<br/>Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products<br/>Customer service experience</p><p><span><span><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></span></span></p><p><span><span>Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
