Senior Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer – Vienna, VA

Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer to work in Vienna, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

The Senior Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer will lead the development and deployment of activities on a private/public cloud solution or a comparable high availability environment. The candidate will leverage solutions to address scalability, failover/recovery, disaster recovery planning, monitoring, security, and performance. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills to engage with external teams and implement solutions to meet requirements. The Senior Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer will gather and analyze requirements and provide recommendations. The ideal candidate will direct the provision of the appropriate cloud resources within the various development, integration, and production environments.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• At least seven (7+) years of experience with at least 1 of the 3 major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google), performing significant research and development efforts or managing programs requiring comprehensive and innovative technical solutions
• Robust cloud knowledge
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Possess the ability to self-manage work priorities
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative to help the team grow
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
