Summary
This is a skilled position requiring the individual to perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, and various other shop related duties. Most of the job duties will be based in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate the Service Truck.
- Perform preventative maintenance to include oil and filter changes on equipment along with the record keeping involved for each procedure.
- Operates pressure greasing equipment to lubricate moving parts and wearing surfaces of equipment as assigned.
- Operates pressure washer as assigned.
- Maintains records related to equipment maintenance as directed.
- Will assist other personnel with other shop related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or a combination of both. Thorough knowledge of all construction and other related vehicles.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- CDL is required in accordance with 49 CFR 383.91: heavy straight vehicle (Group B)
- Required to meet APAC, Inc. Driver Qualification Standards
- Required to pass DOT physical and drug screen
