As a space systems engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the military to develop and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) capabilities to deliver critical information to our warfighters to quickly win or even prevent future wars. Your client will trust you to develop Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), technical assessments, verification plans, and digital mission and system models for satellite systems and payloads. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats, and using innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create tomorrow’s solutions.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience with large-scale space mission and systems engineering and integration on national security space programs
• 1+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, ICDs, and system architecture for space systems or weapon systems
• Experience with digital engineering tools, including MagicDraw, Sparx, DOORS, or IBM rhapsody
• Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification ​
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals 
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
• Knowledge of Systems Machine Learning (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions ​
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in Engineering
• OMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification
• INCOSE SE Certification
