Technical Project Manager SD-LAN

Title: Technical Project Manager | SD-LAN Specialist (Cisco Meraki)

Duration: 12 months contract role

 

 

Summary:

Supporting our Global digital architecture upgrade, in this case our Meraki implementation, this role is a key position in teh delovery team and would suit a results-driven Technical Project Manager with over > 6 of experience in leading IT infrastructure projects, specializing in SD-LAN (Software-Defined Local Area Network) solutions using Cisco Meraki.

Responsibilities

RoleCompetencies:

• Project Management: Agile methodologies; skilled in project scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Networking Expertise: Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki solutions, including MX (Security & SD-WAN), MS (Switching), and MR (Wireless Access Points).
• SD-LAN Implementation: Designing, deploying, and managing software-defined networks for enterprise environments.
• Cloud Networking: Integration and management of Meraki’s cloud-based architecture for centralized control and monitoring.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to liaise between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Budget and Cost Management: Ensuring cost-efficient deployment and operations of networking solutions.
• Security Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Your background:

 

You'll have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex networking projects on time and within budget, while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

This experience to be gained preferably at engineering/manufacturing companies.

You will be adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
