Employee Benefits Account Manager

Brown & Brown Insurance has an exciting opportunity available for an Employee Benefits Account Manager for our team in Houma, LA.

Primary responsibility includes customer service duties for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production of the business. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Providing Customer Service

• Close Renewal / New Group files – ready for filing, make sure check list is complete

• Month End Procedures for renewing groups

• Preparing and sending Thank You Letters

• Intercepting and processing applications and change forms

• Processing Individual Health Applications/Quoting

• Marketing New Accounts and Renewals, handling all carrier correspondence

• Preparing New Account and Renewal Proposals

• Assistance with submission of New Business and follow up on outstanding requirements

• Preparing AORs and forwarding to carriers

• Preparing Top Gun Reports for New Sales, AORs, and lost business

• Assisting with receptionist duties

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum education required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Life & Health License required

• Exceptional telephone demeanor

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar position is preferred
