We are looking for a passionate Regional Director to join our team and make a difference in Keystone Mountain Region. This is a unique opportunity to bring expertise in event planning, teen mentorship and project management to revitalize and strengthen BBYO in a vibrant Jewish community with a long history of BBYO influence.</p> <p>As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing membership, training teen leaders, planning fun and meaningful programs, and strengthening community support for BBYO in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Together with the dedicated and dynamic Keystone Mountain Region team, you’ll shape the lives of hundreds of Jewish teens.</p> <p><strong>SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF</strong></p> <p>As a Regional Director, your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Coaching and mentoring teens to implement an annual calendar of high quality, diverse and fun programs at the chapter and regional level.</li> <li>Managing the teen-led regional board and regional initiatives, including two overnight conventions and other major regional events.</li> <li>Ensuring, in partnership with the teens and staff, regional programs are engaging, impactful, well-promoted, and safely executed.</li> <li>Recruiting, training, supervising, and building a strong community of volunteer advisors that work directly with local chapters.</li> <li>Seeking out and cultivating relationships with parents, alumni, and partners in the community to mobilize more people to grow and support BBYO.</li> <li>Utilizing data to drive decisions in continuing to build a robust member recruitment process to expand the impact of BBYO in Keystone Mountain Region.</li> <li>Participating in organizational projects, teams, and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT</strong></p> <p>Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, for Regional Directors, these skills are key to success:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>2-5 years of work experience</li> <li><strong>Education: </strong>A bachelor's degree or higher</li> <li><strong>Abilities</strong>: Experience with youth or teens is preferred.</li> <li>Experience with event management and planning is preferred.</li> <li>Must reside in the Pittsburgh, PA area and be willing and able to travel regularly throughout the region for chapter and regional programs.</li> <li>Ability to travel&nbsp;to organization-wide events such
