Welcome Center Associate (Part-Time)

Do you like working with people with a focus of making their visit the most enjoyable possible? If so, the Central Community Branch YMCA is looking for you to join our Welcome Center.

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal/ human relations skills, including the ability to establish and maintain a positive work environment with staff, volunteers, and members and the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing high level customer service to our members.
• Working with the Senior Experience Director and Building Supervisor to ensure quality experiences for all members.
• Working with members and guests on registrations
• Sharing program information and membership benefits
• Answering any phone calls in a professional manner
• Communicate with appropriate team members about member concerns and operations

The candidate must be dependable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.

Schedule: Shifts are available of select weekdays from 1pm - 5pm and 5pm - 9pm with one monthly Saturday shift from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm. Hours on average are 10-20 hours per week. Availability and schedule will be discussed during the interview. 

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA Facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
