What You Will Do:
- Lead Quality organization in support of P&W F135 DEPOT Sustainment Operations at West Palm Beach (WPB).
- Direct Quality Management responsibilities for the P&W WPB F135 Depot.
- Drive the highest standards of quality excellence, in support of depot operations, to deliver F135 modules to meet contractual obligations and customer expectations.
- Lead salary staff on-site in WPB and hourly bargaining unit staff in WPB.
- Ensure processes and metrics support site compliance (AS9100D), customer requirements, and that support compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency, deploy Quality Clinic process, and drive efforts to reduce internal defects and escapes.
- Establish and manage quality documents, guidelines, and processes to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
- Support integration of quality processes and documentation across the Southeast Region and Sustainment network.
- Manage quality compliance audit processes as part of the P&W Site Auditing Group; provide guidance to the resolution of audit findings through corrective actions and process improvement.
- Lead site level Corrective Action Board process.
- Manage teams providing expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, government regulations and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.
- Collect and analyze quality data to develop long-term quality strategy and support MRL activities.
- Interface with various business functions such as Process Engineering, Operations, Customer Support Engineering, EH&S.
- Drive employee engagement to foster a culture of respect, empowerment, communication, and teamwork
- Drive talent developments to ensure team stability, business continuity, and meet organizational needs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with DCMA, ensuring clear communication and strong partnership.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- AS9100/9110 knowledge and experience.
- Current or previous qualification as an internal auditor (lead auditor preferred).
- Knowledge of MRL processes.
- Knowledge of SAP, including SAP ERP.
- Experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.
- Experience leading teams of quality professionals.
- Experience executing CORE, ACE, or LEAN practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with a cross-functional team in a matrix environment.
- Experience working with hourly bargaining unit personnel.
- Knowledge of Defense/Military Programs, DCMA &/or Governmental regulatory requirements.
