The Opportunity
Join Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, where we are at the forefront of advancing heart disease treatment through breakthrough medical technologies. This role is based in our Plymouth, MN office and supports our $2.7B Electrophysiology business unit within Abbott’s Medical Devices sector.
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Business Human Resources to lead and execute HR strategies for Global Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality functions. This role will serve as a key partner to senior business leaders and will have one direct report.
What You’ll Work On
Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR plans aligned with business needs.
Leadership Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to design and execute people, culture, and workplace initiatives.
Talent and Inclusion: Develop and implement a talent and inclusion plan to ensure the right talent and environment for achieving financial goals.
Leadership Development: Provide coaching and training to build leadership capabilities, including succession and development planning.
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives with thought leadership and experience.
Influence and Conflict Management: Navigate complexity, ambiguity, and manage conflicting viewpoints effectively.
Benchmarking and Best Practices: Review and benchmark external business and talent trends to develop future best practices.
Diverse Workforce: Partner with leaders to build a diverse and innovative workforce.
HR Innovation: Drive division-wide innovative HR initiatives and programs.
Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with HR partners to coordinate HR elements successfully.
Communication and Analytics: Utilize strong communication skills and leverage analytics to gain insights and drive actionable outcomes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
10-15 years of progressive experience in Human
