Non-Tenure: Clinical Faculty

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning early Summer 2025. Applicants will be considered for the title of Clinical Faculty. Responsibilities include clinic and didactic Endodontics training to residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program: supervision of clinical treatment of patients within the parameters listed on accepted treatment plans, participation in didactic instruction based on areas of expertise, and performance of other duties as assigned by the Program Director. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service

Qualifications

Candidate must have a DDS degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate must be board certified in Endodontics. Candidate must be familiar with the latest technology in dentistry, including contemporary materials and techniques, implant placement and restoration, digital procedures, and others. Teaching experience required.  Candidates must have previous experience as Clinical Case Reviewer for the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. 

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
