Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Jr. Product Manager to join our team in the Chantilly, VA location to perform work remotely and in-office as needed!

This professional will play a key role in the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of internal projects, ensuring they meet technical, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements. This involves actively coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams and assessing customer needs. Although this position offers an entry-level to professional progression, it requires either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The individual will utilize established procedures to solve standard problems, under the guidance of senior team members. The role is non-supervisory and emphasizes individual contribution, initiative, and working to achieve goals and meet deadlines to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly acquire and demonstrate expertise in multiple software applications and establish oneself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist and guide our clients effectively/efficiently.

  • Review and maintain software licensing agreements related to managed applications.

  • Facilitates and/or present training classes and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities and client feedback.

  • Generate and manage reports on application financial and performance metrics as directed by management.

  • Resolve technical problems and answer queries via telephone or email related to product support and/or license/software access and resolve or elevate issues promptly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of project planning and support experience.

  • 1-3 years of instructional experience or equivalent.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Experience in public speaking and interfacing with executive-level personnel.

  • Relevant associate or bachelor's degree or supporting certifications. Degree may be substituted with:

    • Associate degree and/or 3 to 5 years of related/relevant job experience.

    • Bachelor's degree and/or 1 to 3 years of related/relevant job experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in lesson planning and face-to-face instruction.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, and collaboration applications.

  • Experience in software or tech-based training.

  • Familiarity with objective and milestone planning.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects that require in person and collaboration with remote teams of Subject Matter Experts and Technical staff.

  • Ability to work well remotely via teleworking as well as in ManTech offices and at client locations in the metro Washington DC area as applicable. 20% travel may be required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Technical/Management leadership. 

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance in the future. NOTE: This job is contingent upon meeting all Federal and Agency security clearance requirements. Failure to disclose relevant background information at the time of interview, or at any time during the clearance process, will result in termination. 

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, peers, management, and customers which may involve delivering presentations in-person and/or remotely. Must be able to access, exchange, communicate, collaborate, document, and converse accurate information in these situations.

  • Proficiently Operate: a computer, mobile phone and other IT peripherals provided by ManTech.
