ABOUT THE TEAM

The Air Dominance and Strike Division is Anduril’s fastest growing and largest division. Our teams are fundamentally reshaping the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and the autonomy software that powers these weapons. The Engineering Finance team will support AD&S in supply chain, engineering, and process improvement.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst with 3-7 years of experience to join our Engineering Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling while also challenging business partners on technical topics in supply chain, engineering, and process improvement. This individual will be instrumental in providing financial clarity for various programs, guiding strategic decision-making, and optimizing financial performance. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Establish transparency into material cost for existing and future Anduril products. 
  • Lead with the Engineering and Supply Chain teams to develop and implement cost reduction roadmap. 
  • Define key performance metrics and provide actionable insights through reporting and ad hoc analysis. 
  • Deep dive on operational or functional topics as needed. 
  • Support cross-functional teams with tradeoff studies to achieve sustainable unit economics. 
  • Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy. 
  • Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or technical background (Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations) is a plus. 
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling, ideally with experience in operations or hardware environments. 
  • You can quickly distill problems into solutions (i.e. create a framework, identify key stakeholders, fill in gaps, and drive to a solution) 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner. 
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • You are comfortable working in cross-functional environments and able to navigate seamlessly between different functions, skillsets, and perspectives. 
  • You have a solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and investment analysis. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States 
US Salary Range$90,000$135,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
