Job Description

Responsible for supporting the Booking & Sales Manager, coordinating event calendar, 
generating new business as well as overseeing the hotel rooming needs for any arena 
events.

• Establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with industry professionals, 
governing agencies, communication mediums, clients of the property and the 
general public. 
• Assist with the development, coordination and management of the annual calendar 
of events for the facility.
• Assist with the procurement of new business and event opportunities. 
• Issue contracts for all confirmed events scheduled at the facility.
• Work with the Orleans Hotel Sales department to optimize hotel occupancy and 
maximize average daily rates related to arena event room usage. 
• Develop financial projections for events via pro formas and event budgets.
• Develop annual budget and forecast for hotel room bookings related to arena 
events.
• Analyze each event and provide feedback and recommendations to the Booking & 
Sales Manager.
• Maintain a balance of event types as to provide the best variety of entertainment 
options for guests.
• Advise the Booking & Sales Manager on current events and tours within the 
industry. 
• Assist the Booking & Sales Manager in developing facility reports and analysis.
• Work in conjunction with the Booking & Sales Manager in maintaining a positive 
community image

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in business/marketing 
preferred.
• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable with MS office products, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Knowledgeable with Event Booking software and Meeting Matrix Diagram program. 
• Knowledgeable with Lodging Management System (LMS).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as 
required by local gaming regulations.
