Part-Time HR Generalist

Description

SpareBox Storage is growing its team and is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the part-time role of HR Generalist in the Denver Tech Center area! We expect this role to require approximately 24 hours per week.

We are looking for an HR Generalist who will play a key role in supporting our human resources functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, payroll processing, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives while ensuring a positive and engaging employee experience.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Recruitment and Onboarding 

· Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job posting to onboarding

· Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations

Employee Relations

· Address employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution

· Foster a positive environment through employee engagement initiatives

Process Payroll

· Process payroll using Paylocity on a biweekly basis

· Process special payrolls as necessary

Compliance

· Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations

· Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal requirements

HR Administration

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records

· Generate HR reports and metrics as needed

· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

· Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role

· Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and regulations

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

· Proficiency with Paylocity
