Job Description
General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:
- Assists applicant with the Section 42 application process
- Processes and maintains accurate resident files
- Works under the direction of the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed. Walk units once deemed "ready to rent" for quality assurance
- Completes move-in walk through with new residents
- Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
- Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
- Creates and updates the wait list
- Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Community Manager. Attend Monday or daily morning meetings with the complete team
- Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
Qualifications
- 2+ years of consecutive multi-family property management and leasing experience (Required)
- 1+ years of WA affordable apartment experience (Required)
- Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi (Preferred)
- Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs in Washington
- Attention to detail
- Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws
- Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
- Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Additional Information
Pay - $26.00 Hourly
