Job Description
Library Assistants in public services areas are responsible for service desk (circulation/reserves and information), some training and directing the work of library clerks, students and part-time staff, and the maintenance of records and files established in libraries to govern the acquisition, organization, and reservation and circulation of collections. The Library Assistant will be expected to perform other duties as assigned. HOURS: Monday –Friday 7:30AM to 3:30PM; hours vary with the academic calendar
Candidate will provide in-person, by phone, email, and LibAnswers tickets customer service for students and faculty. They will serve as back-up coverage for Reserves, Faculty Document Delivery, Course Support Scanning.
