MRS - Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technology Engineer

<p>Our Monroe Ride Solutions business is looking for Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technology Engineer to join our team in Gliwice, Poland.</p> <p> </p> <p>The MET Engineer is part of the regional MET-group (Manufacturing Engineering and Technology) which supports the development and introduction of new ‘generic’ validated products in a cross-functional team.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your potentials tasks:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Explore the production processes market (worldwide) for new technologies for possible use within Tenneco through feasibility studies, initial sample production (mainly externally @ suppliers) and collect / provide data &amp; reports to develop capable processes / product developments and introductions or improve current processes / product portfolio available within Tenneco</p> </li> <li> <p>Create / collect reports &amp; documents to create Process Technology Roadmaps in cooperation with the CCT-group within MET to facilitate process-standardization or product-standardization projects across different plants, including PFMEA (generic) / SPC-reports / CCT-documentation</p> </li> <li> <p>Performs Benchmarking (internal &amp; external) activities to define best practices or potential new development areas within process or product realization</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as CCT-Engineer for newly introduced processes during the first phases of introduction and transfer knowledge to the CCT-group / Plants when the process is matured and ready to be implemented on a larger scale</p> </li> <li> <p>Support and innovate existing processes in the area of assembly  </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Required skills &amp; experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanics or Electro Mechanics) with knowledge related to materials / machine development / machine controls </p> </li> <li> <p>3 to 5 years of industrial experience preferably within a process R&amp;D / innovation automotive environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Fluent in English, basic knowledge of German - knowledge of other languages is an advantage</p> </li> <li> <p>Project management skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Analytical skills, quickly mastering complex matters in his scope without jumping to conclusions, results oriented</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of latest process technologies (as laserwelding / 3D printing / Adhesive Bonding / Injection Moulding / …)</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of DOE, FMEA (Plato), SPC – preferably 6Sigma Green Belt Knowledge of CAD-software (Catia / Autocad / Inventor / …)</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to travel frequently (50/50)</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Employment stability</p> </li> <li> <p>Remarkable opportunity to gain experience by working in a dynamic and international environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Further development opportunities</p> </li> <li> <p>Referral bonus program</p> </li> <li> <p>The employee recognition program</p> </li> <li> <p>Attractive salary, bonuses, and benefits package including Luxmed medical package, sport package OK System, entertainment events, and many others</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What you can expect next:</p> <p>Our team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role.
