Global Sales Director (m/f/d)

 

Location: Europe / North America 

 

Your tasks

 

• As Director Go-to-market you define and implement the strategy for selling our solutions and services of your business unit Chemicals & Energy 
• You represent our value proposition towards existing and new customers and partners and build/maintain long lasting relationships
• By developing comprehensive sales and distribution strategies you penetrate existing and new markets to maximize opportunities
• You understand industry-specific trends and landscapes and transfer these into value selling and pricing strategies for our service portfolio
• You lead and develop the global sales team
• You direct the sales teams to generate proposals and define a clear path for revenue growth by value selling and client satisfaction
• By analysing performance reports you review the sales performance

 

 

Your profile

 

• Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or any other related field
• Min. 7 years of working experience in a (key) account management position within a fast-paced and highly competitive business environment
• Excellent technical understanding and exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in the successful marketing of automation and digital solutions ideally in the chemicals and energy industry 
• Exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire a large groupin a unified direction and vision
• Strong intercultural skills to successfully lead the global sales team
• In-depth knowledge of strategic, analytical, and marketing concepts
• Being self-motivated and having a strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Willingness to travel is required within the scope of the respective responsibilities
• Business-fluent in English
