Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week)
The Amazon Key Account Associate provides critical administrative and operational support to the Key Account Manager by overseeing item setup, pricing coordination, order flow issue resolution, and content execution. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations on Amazon platforms (Seller and Vendor Central), supports item lifecycle management, and executes competitive research and catalog maintenance to optimize the brand’s presence and performance during key events.
What You Will Do:
- Content Management: Execute content updates in collaboration with internal teams, including A+ content, variations, and imagery, ensuring alignment with Amazon standards and brand guidelines.
- New Product Launch Tracking & Sales Reporting: Track performance of new product launches, compile monthly reports, and work with marketing to adjust visibility strategies based on insights.
- IP Protection Support: Collaborate with product and legal teams to address and escalate copyright, trademark, or patent infringements on the Amazon platform.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct research and generate reports on competitor activity, product mix, and discounting during key tentpole events to support strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Communication & Issue Escalation: Serve as liaison between Amazon and internal teams (SBO, Product Management and Marketing); communicate critical updates, approvals, and escalations.
- Documentation and Process Support: Maintain shared folders and documentation libraries; ensure easy access to key tools, reports, and resources for internal Amazon team support.

Qualifications
- Minimum 0-3 years of business environment experience with basic understanding of sales, marketing & pricing concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Amazon Seller and Vendor Central and catalog/content maintenance preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally (~15–20%) for distributor support or internal meetings.
