About the role

The Coax, Copper & Fiber Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the company’s HFC network infrastructure, including coaxial, copper, and fiber systems. This role supports both scheduled maintenance and emergency response to service outages to ensure safe, reliable network performance. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on coax, copper, and fiber lines; 
  • Support emergency call-outs to restore network service during outages; 
  • Inspect, test, and verify proper operation of HFC nodes and related equipment; 
  • Perform Coax splicing and basic fiber troubleshooting; 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, tools, and materials used; 
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry standards during field work; 
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and NOC teams during service restoration.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License; 
  • Knowledge of HFC node operations; 
  • Experience in Coax splicing; 
  • Ability to work on-call in emergency response situations; 
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
