Description:
The Process Technician takes responsibility for set-up/start-up/troubleshoot/produce our products in our manufacturing plant in Texas.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the photovoltaic module recipe and troubleshooting with the product defect.
Monitor the implementation of protocols and standard operating procedures.
Process abnormality analysis/diagnosis improvement/improvement of product quality.
Participate in the improvement and preparation of documentation.
Train junior production personnel.
Support material supplier qualification, material inspection and testing when needed.
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
Support ISO 9001 activities
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies.
Conduct other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical) combined with relevant work experience is preferred.
Minimum 1~3 years experience as a technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment (with photovoltaic industry preferred)
Exceptional troubleshooting skill with electrical, mechanical components preferred.
Ability to solve complicated equipment malfunction independently and with minimum supervision.
Proficient with Excel and other applications for data analysis.
Ability to teach junior staff and to transfer experience through informal presentations and on-the-job training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Expertise with both English & Mandarin preferred)
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Must be self directed and able to work with little supervision.
