Riverside Research is seeking full-time Space ISR IQT/MQT Courseware Developers & Instructors to support Space Operations Command (SpOC) at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado.  Candidates will utilize best practices of the Instructional System Development (ISD) model employed by the Department of the Air Force (DAF) ISR community to create courseware that encompasses but is not limited to targeting; foreign instrumentation signals (FIS); cyber intelligence; processing, exploitation, and disseminations (PED); and all-source intelligence analysis.  Space ISR IQT/MQT Courseware Developers & Instructors will present material to United States Space Force (USSF) ISR Guardians primarily through in-person classroom instruction at Peterson SFB, CO, though there will be limited travel to other locations.  Candidates must be proficient in standard office software applications and capable of devising practical and sustainable solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support identification, validation, and prioritization of initial qualification training (IQT) and mission qualification training (MQT) requirements for USSF ISR Enterprise Guardians
  • Survey available courses or instructional materials available throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) that may partially or wholly meet IQT/MQT needs
  • Where existing courses or instructional materials do not exist or do not meet USSF requirements, create tailored, domain-specific courseware that incorporates Department of the Air Force (DAF) ISR community best practices for Instructional System Design (ISD)
  • Evaluate IQT/MQT material on an annual basis for currency and relevancy to evolving USSF mission assets; revise material as needed to meet validated, prioritized requirements
  • As part of a team, deliver IQT/MQT through in-person classroom instruction; on a limited basis, participate in mobile training teams presenting training at other locations
  • Explore the use of computer-based training (CBT) or distance learning thru video teleconferencing; provide recommendations on how this may be implemented

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields
  • United States Air Force (USAF) intelligence professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle to include processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED); targeting; and all-source analysis
  • Experience developing training material and presenting in a classified environment
  • Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
  • Open to occasional travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with United States Space Force (USSF) organization, mission, roles, and responsibilities
  • USAF intelligence squadron director of operations or flight commander; squadron or flight superintendent experience
  • Qualification in any of the following Air Force Specialty Codes: 14N, 1N0, 1N1, 1N2, 1N4, 1N3, 1N5, 1N8, 1A8
  • Intelligence Weapons Instructor Course (IWIC) or Advanced Instructor Course (AIC) graduate from the United States Air Force Weapons School
  • Joint Targeting School (JTS), Combat Targeting Course (CTC), or Target Analyst certifications
  • Assignment to or deployments in support of a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC)
  • Master's in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related field
  • Familiarity or professional certifications in courseware creation, instruction, training methodologies or developmental software
  • Professional military education commensurate with rank 

 

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually
