Nursing Supervisor - Med Surg Acute *F/T Nights*

Nursing Supervisor - Medical Surgical Acute unit at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. Positions available are full-time and will work Night shifts.
The Medical Surgical Acute unit is a fast-paced 45 bed unit that cares for a variety of patients along the continuum of care, from observation to inpatient. Our population includes patients admitted for rule out stroke, chest pain, post-cardiac interventions, same-day surgery, and medical management. Many of our patients require telemetry monitoring as they receive fixed rate vasoactive drips.
Under the direction of the Department Manager, the Clinical Coordinator provides an optimal practice environment for the care of patients. Expertly uses the nursing process to oversee care for patients on a particular unit and participates in patient care as needed. Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates the department activities for a shift ensuring high quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Current Clinical Coordinator employees may retain a non-nursing bachelor's degree but they may not be promoted to higher level nursing positions.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 2 years of recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Leadership experience.
