About the job :

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of embedded camera software. You will be responsible for designing and implementing OS-level solutions, guiding other developers, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance.

Responsibilities:  

• Translate project requirements into technically sound solution designs for the OS and lower layers of embedded camera software.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to internal and external developers.

• Define, estimate, and execute technical work packages in collaboration with the team.

• Design and implement OS drivers and hardware support solutions.

• Work closely with FPGA and electronics designers, DevOps, and systems architects to optimize software performance and quality.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and release processes.

 

What we are looking for:

• • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Proven track record in application-level Linux development, including strong experience with Qt.

  • Experience in hardware-oriented programming for optical systems, ideally imaging systems.

  • Solid background in embedded Linux system development.

  • Proficiency in C and C++ (C++11/14/17).

  • Experience with Yocto Linux and microcontroller programming.

  • Skilled in Git and experienced with code reviews.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Confident and persuasive in interactions with product definition and implementation teams.

  • Independent, self-reliant working style.

  • Excellent command of English; German is an advantage.
