Sr. Sales Specialist - Storage, Retail, Restaurants, and Consumer Packaged Goods

Key job responsibilities
- Work backwards from customer business objectives positioning AWS storage solutions to help them accomplish their goals
- Drive revenue growth for AWS Storage services (S3, S3 Intelligent-Tiering, S3 Glacier, EFS, FSx)
- Drive adoption of modern storage solutions including S3 Tables and S3 Vectors.
- Execute storage-focused sales plays across assigned territories
- Partner with Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors to build solution offerings
- Collaborate with AWS Sales teams (Account Managers, Solutions Architects, TAMs) to drive storage opportunities
- Partner with cross-domain peers to win large migrations and help customers modernize their storage technology stack
- Work closely with Product teams to influence roadmap based on customer feedback
About the team
You'll be working on a team of Sales Specialists each focused on a domain. We work to provide deep domain expertise with the right customers at the right time. While we are domain focused, we keep the customer's overall business objectives and cloud journey in focus so we earn the right to be their trusted advisors.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology sales experience
- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
- 5+ years experience in sales or business development relating to storage technology including SAN, NAS, object storage, and cloud storage technologies.
- Experience with modern data architectures (Data Lakes, Apache Iceberg, S3 Tables)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
