  • Minimum of 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to make decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Ability to deal appropriately with billing vendor and team members in stressful or other undesirable situations and to seek direction from supervisors when necessary
  • Demonstrate intermediate computer/word processing skills
  • In-depth knowledge of billing and revenue-cycle processing necessary
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities as it relates to medical billing and denials
  • Basic knowledge of clinical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes
  • Ability to read and understand different Explanation of Benefits 

 

A Day in the Life of a Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst:

  • Provide services and support for the following areas:
    • The Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for monitoring all Solis vendors for payer denials, Accounts Receivables, and special projects.
    • This position will be responsible for ensuring all Accounts Receivable Analyst are trained to achieve metric goals.
    • This position will be responsible for reviewing daily Solis vendors for payer denial trends with the team and leadership to determine resolution.
    • This position requires a very analytical thinker and process improvement-oriented individual who can review claims data and outline, document and communicate the issues to resolution.
    • Experience with achieving reimbursement from private payers, insurance companies and government healthcare programs with concentration in Commercial, Medicaid/Advantage and Medicare/Advantage.
    • Will work directly with payers and billing vendors to investigate and research any applicable correspondence to successfully resolve payment discrepancies.
    • Will provide coaching as needed to Accounts Receivable Analyst
    • Reduce denial rate for top denials by 10% per month
    • The Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for training our vendors and facilities when problematic trends arise.
    • The Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for leveraging which payers require prioritization. Ensuring the Accounts Receivable Analyst is trained on how to prioritize vendors.
