Senior Data Engineer (DW Engineer)

<p><strong>ManpowerGroup Greece</strong>, on behalf of its client, a company that provides Managed and IT Services in Enterprise clients, is seeking for a <strong>Senior Data Engineer (DW Engineer)</strong>. </p><p><strong>Workplace Location: </strong>Athens – Northern Suburbs, Hybrid working Model OR Clients’ location </p><p><strong>What you will be doing: </strong></p><p>You will be part of the Data Engineering team and <strong>you be involved end to end in the design and implementation</strong>, in order to achieve successful delivery of the company’s projects to Enterprise clients. </p><p><strong>More specifically you will: </strong></p><ul> <li>Collaborate with various teams to develop and support applications in multiple product lifecycle environments.  </li> <li>Gather, analyze and document business and technical requirements  </li> <li>Create functional requirements as input to design  </li> <li>You contribute to the design and documentation of the solution  </li> <li>Build and deploy the solution  </li> <li>Design data warehouses  </li> <li>Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with customers  </li> <li>Communicate findings to client executives, in collaboration with our client's application development project management team  </li> <li>Execute activities and deliverables according to plan </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>A BSc, in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field </li> <li>4+ of professional experience as <strong>data warehouse engineer or equivalent role </strong> </li> <li>Experience in <strong>.NET or Java or C/C++ development languages </strong> </li> <li>Strong knowledge of all phases of a<strong> Data Warehouse development Lifecycle </strong> </li> <li>Experience with Power BI or Oracle BI </li> <li>Team player with problem-solving skills </li> <li>Ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize </li> <li>Strong client phasing skills </li> <li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language </li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>It will be nice to have: </strong></p><ul> <li>Experience in Azure data platform, data analytics and/or cloud technologies </li> <li>Experience in Reporting tools </li> <li>Experience in documenting new and existing processes </li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Technologies (SSIS, SSRS) </li> <li>Experience in SQL Server </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive Salary </li> <li>Prospects of development </li> <li>Continuous education </li> </ul>
