We are currently seeking a Finance Specialist to become a member of our West Sacramento/Corporate office. Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. Key Responsibilities
- Handle finance mails and checks deposits processing.
- Handle deposits/cash receipts entries/posting in Deltek System.
- Handle AP vouchers, AP disbursements, and dummy checks processing/saving.
- Handle AP vouchers/payment related phone calls.
- Handle AP invoice related online retrieval for US IP addresses only.
- Handle credit card transactions download/recons.
- Assist with special projects as requested on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Minimum Associate/similar degree in accounting and/or finance.
- Strong Excel skill preferred, proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and 10 keys.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and problem analysis skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Deltek Vantagepoint experience will be highly valued).
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in U.S. – GAAP; Experience in AP processing, month-end close process.
- Experience in A/E or Construction Industry a plus.

The salary range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00 per hour. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
