🏀 Now Hiring: Basketball Scorekeepers – Marblehead YMCA! 🏀

Love basketball? Want to be part of the action this winter? The Marblehead YMCA is looking for energetic and reliable Scorekeepers to support our Jr. Celtics Basketball League and youth sports programs!

🗓 Schedule:

• Saturdays (Required):

  • Morning: Assist with Rookie Preschool Basketball, helping coach and encourage our youngest players as they learn the game.

  • Daytime: Help keep score, support game flow, and create a fun, positive environment for Jr. Celtics players and families.

🕗 Hours:
Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with additional hours available as the season continues!)

✅ Must be at least 16 years old
🏀 Knowledge of basketball rules and basic game flow preferred (training provided)
📋 Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate game scores and time
💬 Excellent communication and teamwork skills
🕒 Dependable and punctual — must be available Saturdays and some weeknights
💪 Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and set up/take down gym equipment as needed
😃 Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with youth and families in a team environment
