Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Talent Acquisition Department presents an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Consultant focused on physician, APP, and faculty recruitment.
As our organization continues to grow with new developments like the Outpatient Surgery Center, Medical Office Building, and Cancer Center in Northwest Greensboro; the Cloverdale Outpatient Surgery Center in Winston-Salem; various clinics across the Piedmont Triad region; and the new Wake Forest University School of Medicine campus in Charlotte, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to help staff these exciting new facilities. This position is based at our headquarters in beautiful Winston-Salem, North Carolina, offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for talent acquisition, primarily recruiting physicians and APPs for community practices and faculty physicians for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders and search panels, understanding their recruitment needs.
- Proactively identify candidate pools using creative sourcing strategies, such as direct sourcing, social media, competitor research, internet searches, networking, and referrals, along with traditional sourcing methods.
- Conduct comprehensive candidate screens and assessments, presenting recommendations to hiring leaders.
- Manage the candidate interview process, including virtual and onsite interviews, and advise on inclusive hiring practices and HR compliance.
- Guide hiring teams through the candidate evaluation process, ensuring diversity within the candidate pool and presenting evaluation feedback.
- Stay informed about candidate supply and demand in assigned employment areas and design proactive recruitment strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Provide regular updates to hiring leaders and search committees on strategy effectiveness through reports, metrics, and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years related experience required.
- Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Oracle, Workday or similar ATS & HRIS systems preferred.
- Demonstrated spirit of collaboration as evidenced by strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to perform all aspects of recruiting successfully including competitive market research, cold calling, the use of social media strategies and interviewing/assessing candidates in regard to their fit for the position and our culture.
- Proven ability to think strategically and conceptually, while delivering tactical results.
- Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with a broad spectrum of stakeholders up to and including C-suite executives.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver on multi-faceted priorities and projects.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrated resiliency, adaptability and commitment.

Location Requirement: Candidates must be local, residing within a 30-mile radius of Winston-Salem, NC. This is a hybrid position, requiring both remote work and onsite presence as needed.
