Document Control / Accounts Payable Office Assistant

ReconCraft is seeking an Office Assistant to continuously enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). The Office Assistant will work for the Quality Department, under direct supervision of the Document Control Specialist. They will capture data into relevant databases, including SharePoint, in a timely and accurate manner; identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
Job Functions:
- Assist with various document control activities.
- Provide administrative support.
- Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
- Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
- Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors.
- Update customer information in a database.
- Verify outdated information and make any necessary changes to records.
- Create spreadsheets to track customer information and orders.
- Search for and investigate information contained in files.
- Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork.
- Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
- Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
- Operate common office equipment, i.e.: scanners and printers.
Essential Job Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in records management. o Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. o Must be a U.S. Citizen. o Must be able to pass background check.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding drawing symbols read flag notes and general notes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read production travelers, and adhere to standard safety and quality control procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs. o Standing for long period of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required.
- Ability to work long hours, when required, to meet deadlines and other deliverables.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
- Certification in Records Management is a plus.
Position Pay Range$25—$28 USD
