As a Patient Access Associate in Central Scheduling & Financial Clearance, you connect with patients before their visit—scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and helping them understand what to expect financially. Your work ensures fewer surprises, smoother visits, and a better experience for patients and care teams alike. 

You’re a key link between patients, providers, and payers, bringing clarity, accuracy, and empathy to every interaction. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across clinic and hospital services 

  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed 

  • Review and confirm demographic and financial information 

  • Explain financial responsibility, estimates, and payment options 

  • Assist patients with financial assistance or referrals when appropriate 

  • Communicate with clinical teams to ensure visits are financially cleared 

What You Bring: 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills 

  • Attention to detail and comfort working with insurance and financial data 

  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear, patient-friendly way 

Minimum Requirement: 

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
