Position Overview/Responsibilities:

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible) to support the onsite integration of big data platforms for the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) as part of a large integration and modernization effort for their Unified Platform (UP). UP is the single unifying cloud-based infrastructure connecting disparate cyber capabilities within the JCWA to enable full-spectrum cyberspace operations.

This will be a generalist role that can support the deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, and interoperability of systems and software. 

Requirements:

• Work with the Cybersecurity team by implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Use automation best practices, such as IaC and GitOps, for repeatability and fast provisioning of environments
• The DevSecOps architecture should function in highly classified systems
• Work closely with development teams to provide onboarding support
• Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies

Skills/Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent
• Active Certified Kubernetes Applications Developer (CKAD) preferred, must be able to acquire a CKAD within 6 months if not
• 5 years of experience providing technical guidance to engineers on automation/build tools, version control, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
• Must have at least one of the following certifications:
• CASP+ CE
• CISSP (or Associate)
• CSSLP
• CISSP-ISSAP
• CISSP-ISSEP
• CCSP
