POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for Science and Engineering to oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage revisions, collaborate with committees, develop guidance resources, and deliver professional development initiatives for school districts and state conferences.

Please note: this role does not allow for any form of remote work, including telecommuting or hybrid arrangements. The nature of this position necessitates a consistent in-person presence. Prospective candidates should be aware that the responsibilities associated with this role require physical presence at the designated workplace in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, education, or closely related field [official transcripts required upon hire];

  • Possession of a valid teaching certificate in science or related experience/education;

  • Three (3) years of experience teaching science.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in science, education, or closely related field [official transcripts required upon hire];

  • Three (3) years experience in curriculum and instruction leadership.
